Ceiling cloth sits over the grand hall. Open Ceiling & floor to dress it without covering the marble.

The whole hall

One room, three colours

Lilac, ivory, and antique gold — and nothing else. The yellow ceiling cloth and the orange column are the only things fighting the day.

Keep

Keep the checkerboard marble, the white columns, the raised platform, the window wall, and the dining wing. The hall is already a wedding room.

Change

Take down the yellow swags and bring the orange column back to ivory. When aso-ebi is lilac and gold, the guests finish the design instead of clashing with it.

Aso-ebi is décor. Matching cloth means you can use fewer flowers.
Keep light warm. Lilac belongs in fabric and roses, not in the gels — lilac light dulls skin in photographs.
Do not black out the windows. Afternoon daylight is the best thing this hall has.
